Shoot Productions have completed filming the UKFC and Screen Yorkshire Digital Short, This Way Up.

Shoot Productions competed filming the UKFC and Screen Yorkshire Digital Short , This Way Up. The film will be going into post production in June, and completed in August 2008.

Sarah Senior, the Producer, said “The filming was a great success. We were working to such a tight schedule and the whole crew and production team really pulled it out of the bag. It’s a real testament to the skills of Yorkshire crew – we had a great team onboard.

The film, which is ten minutes in length, was commissioned as part of the Screen Yorkshire and UK Film Council scheme Caught Short – which promotes new and emerging film making talent in the UK. Once the film has been completed it will be submitted for festival consideration both in the UK and abroad.

The film follows a seven year old boy, who following the sudden death of his mother goes to extraordinary lengths to see her again. It is directed by Sarah Punshon and written by Oliver Emanuel and filmed on location in Bradford and Leeds. It stars Leeds actor Daniel Cockburn as the role of Jason.
